Can A Silly Children's Poem Help You Become a Success At Your Affiliate Marketing Business?

I understand that sounds absolutely crazy. Just hold your horses, or your ponies in this case, and hang with me for a moment! Here we go:

1, 2 you can do anything you want to do.
3, 4 tell God what it is your looking for.
5, 6 the universe is your wish book, just open it up and then you pick.
7, 8 now it's yours, and celebrate!
9, 10 just continue the steps and do it again.

Ok, so what did you think about that? I know it's a bit naive and even some what funny. But don't you agree often times if we narrow things down to their simplest form, to the point that even a five year old can understand it, then us stuborn headed adults can absorb it more easily into our thick sculls too. It sticks in your head, its easy to understand and it's playful and makes you smile. Being confident and willing to always see the glass half full is half the solution right?

The best way for beginners to make starting out less complicated is to find somebody someone that already has a simple successful program set up that you can join into. Then you will not be wasting your money testing things that may not work. While your using this program to achieve your goals, continue to find honest online business people that have already become very successful with their internet businesses and study what it is that makes them successful. Study all the online marketing masters and do what they do. In no time flat, you will be one of the experts. You will be the one giving advice to the newbies in their businesses, starting them along to success.

Now one of my favorite quotes by Napoleon Hill: Whatever the mind of a man can conceive and believe, he can achieve. If you haven't read the book (Think and Grow Rich) then you absolutely should. Almost every successful affiliate marketer in the world recommends it.

People can make things vastly more complicated than they really are. Much of the time this is to make excuses for ourselves why we are not as successful as we want to be in our business or to give ourselves excuses for not doing what we really should do. If you keep discouraging yourself, you will begin to believe it! The best thing is to not make excuses for your mistakes. Learn from them and just keep moving on.

Think of this little mantra when times get really bad: Simplify, Intensify and watch your profits Multiply!!!

To sum all this up, just believe in yourself and your business, don't make things more complicated than they are, work hard and never give up. If you just use this litte bit of advice you can achieve anything you want. Yes, absolutely anything!

How Long Will It Take My Affiliate Marketing Business To Make Money

This is probably the most asked question everyone asks their mentor, upline or affiliate partner when they are just starting out. The answer depends on a lot of factors, most of which come down to the person asking the question.

If you follow a proven system or plan and do everything right, the money should start rolling in very quickly. The key here is finding the perfect, duplicatable system for you. Remember systems work, people fail. Why do you think that McDonalds is so successful? It's certainly not because they have the best food! They have a simple, duplicatable system that every single franchise owner follows exactly. Once again, systems work, people fail. If you want to be a farmer go to a successful farmer and learn his techniques. And if you want to have a successful affiliate marketing business go to a successful affiliate marketer, plug into their system and watch the profits start to come rolling in.

For beginners just starting out this is the best and most proven way to get into the affiliate marketing business quickly with the least amount of effort. Just find some one who is successful and plug yourself into their proven system. Once you have learned the ropes, you can even start your own affiliate marketing program and have other people selling your products. You could even write an ebook about your success with your affiliate marketing business and sell it or give it away to market your affiliate programs. The possibilities are endless really.

Another key factor when just starting out is what you do with your first profits. After finding the perfect system for you this is probably the most important step to success. A lot of people believe they can take that first profit and start spending it, which they can if they want to put their affiliate marketing business in the ground very quickly. But the wise affiliate marketers see the big picture and reinvest those profits back into the business to keep it rolling along and growing.

So many people have a get rich quick mentality - the amount of people who hop around from one so called hot opportunity to the next is proof enough of that. And the thing is, these poor folks could be making some really good money with their affiliate marketing business if they would just do 3 things.

1. Find an affiliate marketing business with a proven, duplicatable and profitable system.

2. Stick with it and don't quit or change programs no matter what.

3. Reinvest your profits back into your affiliate marketing business to keep it rolling along and growing

All that money they are spending on the next so called miracle program is money they could have been investing back into their affiliate marketing business. If they would have just stuck with the first program they joined (if it was a proven winner) and used all that same money they spent on the other programs for advertising and marketing that program they would have become successful. Success was right around the corner and they didn't even know it!

Let's say you do your homework and join a proven affiliate marketing business program with a simple, duplicatable system. And you start out by placing one ad in an ezine that costs you $100 dollars. After all is said and done you end up with $200 dollars total, that's a $100 dollar profit. Now take your $200 dollars and run 2 ads total. After both ads run you have a total of $200 dollars profit plus now you have a list of customers you can make other offers to as often as you like. Just keep repeating this process and growing your customer list. Then follow up with your customers on a regular basis. As they say, the fortune is in the follow up. Your affiliate marketing business can really be as simple as that.

Then after 8 to 12 months you could easily be bringing in over $1,000 a week. That's when you take some of that hard earned money and have some fun with it. Reward yourself. You deserve it!

You can easily speed up this process by adding other marketing strategies to the mix. Many of the strategies you can use in your affiliate marketing business are free! Free affiliate marketing techniques are actually my favorite to use. The reason being obvious. They are FREE! And what's even more exciting is the fact that some of the free techniques are the most effective. Like writing articles like the one your reading now. Or placing free classified ads. Then all you have to do is submit them to free article directories and classified ad directories and before you know it your affiliate marketing business will be all over the internet.

Before you can have a successful home based business, you must first possess 3 "intangibles." These are things that must come from WITHIN you.

 ===> Intangible 1 <===

First, you must have a strong WHY.

Why MUST you have a successful home business? What is driving you? What is it that you CAN'T have in your life anymore and/or what is it that you absolutely MUST HAVE now?

For me, I couldn't stand working 12+ hours a day anymore and missing the experience of my children growing up. I also absolutely HAD TO HAVE the freedom of being able to control my life and finances through a little box (laptop computer) that I could carry with me anywhere in the world and not be tied to anyone's time pressures or demands but my own. That was my carrot and my stick. I felt a great pain deep in my gut of missing out on my children's lives and the incredible freedom that succeeding in a home based business would provide for me. I found my why. You MUST find yours.

You must BELIEVE that it is possible.

If you don't believe that it's POSSIBLE for you to have a successful home based business or make your living from home, you won't. It's that simple.

For me, figuring out that it was possible was just a matter of realizing that many other people were ALREADY making great money working from home. If they could do it, I could too. It would just be a matter of figuring out what those people were doing and then adapting it to my situation.

There is no shortage of undeniable PROOF that people (millions of them) are making money working from home. Just get online and do some research and you'll find countless testimonials and stories of REAL PEOPLE making real money on the Internet. Or head to your local bookstore and you'll find the same documented evidence of this fact. Truth is, it's getting easier and easier to make money with your own home based business.

I've always said that "affiliate marketing" (a simple way to make money from home) is the job of the future. In the "old" days, you had to go to a potential employer, apply for the position and hope for the best. Now you can simply go to any company you want, fill out their affiliate application and start work immediately. Affiliates are the new working class. In fact, making money with affiliate programs or making your living on the Internet is WAY MORE than possible. It is pretty much (or will be soon enough) unavoidable now. Affiliate marketing is the "job" of the future that's already here TODAY.

You must be willing to MAKE THE LEAP.

Ready, FIRE, then aim... This is the operating philosophy you MUST adopt to succeed with a home based business.

That's backwards for most people who like to aim before they fire. The fact is that home based business success is a moving target... The only thing constant about it is change. You need to stop analyzing the game and simply jump into it. You can't learn from the outside... You have to be IN THE RING to truly understand it.

The lesson here is that you will never really be READY to start a home based business. You simply have to start one. It's like having children... You're never really ready, but when it happens you adapt and grow. This is what I call "Making the Leap."

The good news is that the cost of failure with having your own home based business is very small. In the "brick and mortar" world you need to evaluate things very carefully before you decide to open up a business. It's almost always necessary to invest thousands of dollars to get an offline business off the ground. However, on the Internet you can often start a successful business for less than $100.
